The Designers Circus Announces the Opening of its NEW LOCATION at 20 Franklin Street in Allston, Ma

Allston, Ma.- January 31, 2007 The Designers Circus today announced the opening of its new location in Allston, Ma at 20 Franklin Street.

One of the best kept secrets for over 20 The Designers Circus brings to Boston and Portland, ME years, three times a year, the collections of more than 50 designers who design and produce fashions for the women's boutique industry. Local women, who tell other women who tell other women, form the backbone of a large and loyal customer base. The fashions run from sizes 6 to 22, are sold at prices 40% to 90% below retail and run the gamut from special occasion dressing, to office attire to workout wear to leisurewear. With such wide choice and bargain prices, it's no wonder women keep coming back for more.

Beginning with the annual February Valentines Sale, the Designers Circus is expanding into new ventures. A third week has been added that will feature a benefit for Rosie's Place, the introduction of designer collections new to the Circus and a very special jewelry sale.

Jewelry collections from local and international designers will be available for sale from 2/13 to 2/16 (Noon to 8 pm) and 2/17 (10 am to 5 pm). Many of the local designers will be present during sale hours to meet customers on 2/15, 2/16, and 2/17. Local designers include Marjory Koenig, June Lion, Kris Piatt and Portland-based Jennifer Swarts. Also featured are imported designer collections from Italy, Africa and Argentina.

Customers are asked to bring unopened hotel/travel toiletries that will be collected and sent to benefit the women and children sheltered at Rosie's Place. "I've wanted to do something like this for years", says owner and designer Kathleen O'Neill. "I have felt so supported by the wonderful women of Boston in both my business and personal life, that I feel strongly that I want to help support others, too. As a first step in that direction, this is what we have planned."
